12 / 14 = 0.86 lb per day

Label the species and animal clearly in your own records. Do not combine two animals in one gain interval.

The original record makes the math checkable

Use dates and weights from scale tickets, then use feed receipts or expense notes for cost work. The print and export copies keep those starting numbers beside the answer.

Show the arithmetic

Keep the original numbers beside the answer.

Record the date and weight, then show the subtraction and division for ADG, feed cost, or break-even. An advisor can check the answer when the starting numbers stay visible.

Questions to take to an advisor

The worksheet can organize the numbers. Local adults and official program sources still answer project, animal-care, and rule questions.

Does the program require a sheep record, a goat record, or another official form?
Which project costs and show results belong in that record?
Where should required treatment and withdrawal records be kept?
